Let's take a closer look at the third chakra in our body, the Solar Plexus Chakra, also known as Manipura. This chakra holds a lot of power and has some interesting secrets to reveal.
The Solar Plexus Chakra, also known as the third chakra or Manipura in Sanskrit, is located just above your belly button and below your rib cage. It helps to spread energy throughout your body and is responsible for your sense of personal power, willpower, self-esteem, self-discipline, and emotions.
This chakra is also connected to your digestive system and metabolism. It can affect issues like fear, anxiety, and how you form opinions. If you want to feel more confident, expand your mind, and grow spiritually, keeping this chakra balanced and healthy is essential.
The symbolism of the Solar Plexus Chakra.
The Solar Plexus Chakra contains a circle with ten petals and a downward-pointing triangle. The inverted triangle represents the fire element's transformative power.
What does an unbalanced Solar Plexus Chakra feel like?
When the solar plexus chakra is balanced, it can have a significant impact on various aspects of one's life. It can enhance your creativity and allow you to engage in physical activities with more enthusiasm. Additionally, it can help you form deep connections with others and establish long-lasting relationships. A balanced solar plexus chakra can also improve your decision-making abilities, enabling you to set clear goals and achieve them with ease. However, if you find yourself struggling to make decisions, it might be an indication that your solar plexus chakra requires some attention and healing.
Is it underactive or overactive?
The Solar Plexus, responsible for our sense of self-worth and personal power, can sometimes become overactive and lead to various negative symptoms. Some of these symptoms include a constant need to control everything around us, an overly aggressive attitude, and difficulty accepting constructive criticism. We may also experience constant feelings of anxiety and find ourselves prone to panic attacks. In addition, an overactive Solar Plexus can cause us to become highly judgmental and critical of others. We may struggle with managing our emotions, resulting in inflexibility and stubbornness. Furthermore, we might find ourselves fixated on our work and perfectionism, making it difficult to relinquish control.
An underactive Solar Plexus can make you feel like you're experiencing severe emotional problems. It can also cause doubt and mistrust towards others. You may find yourself worrying too much about what other people think of you and tend to avoid your feelings of depression or anxiety. You may feel that you're not good enough and constantly seek approval from others, leading to low energy, weak willpower, and being easily manipulated. Additionally, you may experience low self-esteem, poor digestion, a victim mentality, passivity, and unreliability. Under pressure, you may feel easily overwhelmed by the thoughts and feelings of others, leaving you feeling powerless.
